BAH’s new terminal covers a built-up area of 20.7ha, and will include a 4,600m² departure hall, 104 check-in counters, 36 passport control booths, and 24 security checkpoints, 45 elevators and escalators, a 9,000m² duty-free retail space, premium-class lounges, food and beverage zones, and 24 jetty-served departure gates. It will also feature a fully automated baggage handling system with early bag storage and up to 7,000 car park spaces.

Core International was engaged by the main contractor to oversee all elements relating to the successful delivery of all Fire Life Safety Systems. We provided Technical Management to review / enhance the current procurement and to ensure successful delivery of the programme.  Other activities included coordination of the installation to ensure successful transition into the testing and commissioning phase. Moreover, we led all specialist vendors in performing dynamic and integrated testing (IST), prior to demonstration to the relevant authorities.
